Refund Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026 · Effective immediately.

Plain-English summary: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on SYNQ subscriptions. Your 14-day free trial means you won't be charged at all unless you stay past day 14. If you're charged and change your mind within 30 days, request a refund through Paddle (paddle.net) or contact us.

1. 14-day free trial

Every new SYNQ workspace starts with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required at signup, but your card is not charged during the trial period.

You can cancel at any time during the trial from Settings → Billing. If you cancel before day 15, you will not be charged.

On day 15, your card is automatically charged for the plan you selected at signup, and your subscription begins.

2. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you've been charged for a SYNQ subscription and you're not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the charge date — no questions asked.

The 30-day window applies to: (a) the first charge after your free trial ends, and (b) any subsequent renewal charge. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

3. How to request a refund

Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all SYNQ subscriptions.

To request a refund, you can either:

  • Visit paddle.net and look up your invoice using the email address you used at signup, or
  • Email us at support@gcprhq.com with your invoice number — we'll process the refund through Paddle on your behalf within 2 business days.

Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

4. What's covered & what isn't

Covered by this policy: monthly SYNQ subscription charges (Solo, Team, Business tiers) within 30 days of the charge.

Not covered by this policy:

  • One-time consultations, retainer payments, or other non-subscription products purchased through SYNQ, which are governed by their own purchase terms.
  • Charges older than 30 days (except where required by mandatory local consumer-protection law — see below).
  • Charges where the account has been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Cancellation vs. refund

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically refund the most recent charge. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

If you want both — cancel and get the most recent charge refunded — cancel from Settings → Billing, then request a refund using the steps in section 3.

6. Statutory consumer rights

This policy adds to, and does not replace, any refund or cancellation rights you have under mandatory local law (for example, the EU/UK statutory withdrawal period for consumers). Where local law gives you stronger rights than this policy, local law applies.

7. Questions

For questions about this policy, billing, or a specific charge, email support@gcprhq.com. For Paddle-specific billing inquiries (invoices, tax receipts, payment method updates), use paddle.net.
