Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
1. Prohibited content
You may not upload, store, send, or transmit content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, or violates the rights of any third party (including IP, privacy, or publicity).
- Contains malware, exploits, phishing payloads, or any code intended to harm systems or users.
- Is sexually explicit material involving minors or any non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, hate speech, or discrimination against protected classes.
- Constitutes regulated data we are not contractually equipped to process (e.g., U.S. PHI under HIPAA without a separate BAA, payment-card primary account numbers, government-issued IDs not necessary for the Service, classified information).
2. Prohibited activities
- Spam & unsolicited mail. Sending bulk or commercial messages without lawful basis or recipient consent where required (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR ePrivacy, etc.). All outbound messages must include a working unsubscribe mechanism and a valid physical address where required.
- Email-list abuse. Using purchased, scraped, or harvested lists; uploading contacts in bulk without lawful basis for outreach.
- Reverse engineering. Decompiling, scraping our interface, probing for vulnerabilities (other than via an invited program), or circumventing rate limits, paywalls, or access controls.
- Resale or framing. Reselling, sublicensing, or white-labeling the Service except under a separately executed partner agreement.
- Account abuse. Sharing seats beyond the licensed number, automating account creation, or using the free trial to avoid paid plans.
- Excessive load. Disproportionate API or storage usage that degrades the Service for others. We may apply fair-use limits.
- Unlawful surveillance. Tracking individuals in a manner that violates wiretap, stalking, or privacy laws.
3. Outbound email integrations
When you connect Gmail or another email provider, you remain solely responsible for the content of every message sent through your mailbox. You must comply with that provider's terms (e.g., Google Workspace API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements). We will revoke integrations and tokens where abuse is detected.
4. Reporting & enforcement
To report abuse, contact us via the in-app support channel. We investigate reports promptly. Depending on severity, we may warn, suspend, terminate, remove content, preserve evidence, and/or cooperate with law enforcement. Repeat infringers will be terminated. Our enforcement decisions are final.
